THE EXQUISITE CORPSE & BOX HEAD MONSTERS

We’ll start the session with some drawing fun using the surrealist game of Exquisite Corpse. This group drawing exercise will fire up the imagination, create some interesting creatures, lots of laughs and inspire the next project.

Then we can get the paints and paper out, using our drawings (or something fresh) to create a Box head monster mask out of recycled boxes & materials for halloween.

BATS & FORTUNE TELLERS

This session is a little less messy and focuses on paper folding. First we will make an origami bat with flapping wings. Then a pine cone bat to hang as a decoration.

Next we’ll draw & decorate a paper fortune teller and learn how to fold one.

Suitable for ages 6+ (children must be able to use drawing materials, and follow instructions for paper folding)
