LIGNES DE VIE Sculpture Exhibition Hosted by Par Excellence

LIGNES DE VIE is an exhibition of Gaëlle Hintzy-Marcel's sculptures hosted by PAR EXCELLENCE, the US address of the finest French crafstmen.

At a time when hope and desire for life are finally taking hold over fear and isolation, Gaëlle is sharing through her works her « Lignes de Vie » (Lifelines). Those lines are sensitive messages about life imprinted in the material, like three-dimensional positive communications lines.

« My work is mainly figurative; I use positions and body lines in my sculptures to share my emotions and my visions of the world. My sculptures speak of balance, femininity, questioning and concentration. »

Gaëlle’s works, both airy and calm, challenge and reassure us.

For 20 years, Gaëlle has been nourishing her art through various cultures and encounters made while living in France, Indonesia, Russia, India and today in the United States. Facing so many discoveries, she had to rethink her visions, beliefs, and certitudes.

Her favorite materials are bronze, pewter, steel, and wood.

Gaelle has lived in New York City since 2016. She became a member of the prestigious Art Student League, where she received an award in the semi-abstract category for one of her pewter sculptures. She recently exhibited with the Women Artists from France to USA in Chelsea, and in the Art Fair Together We Art/LP4Y in New York.

The exhibition is taking place in the elegant showroom of Par Excellence.

Par Excellence is a collective that represents the finest French artisans from all different trades and crafts. Their master craftsmen work with top interior designers and architects in creating exceptional bespoke projects.
