Lights Up: Disco on Wheels returns to the dark streets of Manchester this Winter!
Friendly note : These tickets are to log your expression of interest in the event - we will email you with booking links when ride tickets are released, in the early Autumn of 2026!
For the fourth year running, Bee Pedal Ready and Station South are collaborating to bring Lights Up, a moving festival on wheels, to Manchester’s streets and parks. The event promotes safer streets for women and girls and is open to everyone.
As per previous years, Lights Up will feature feeder rides from across the city, meeting at All Saints Park for a Disco on Wheels.
Come and ride with a mass of other illuminated wheeling wonders through the city, lighting up streets and parks before arriving at the Victoria Baths for hot food, drinks, music, and a cycling exhibition designed by Manchester Metropolitan University’s aAH! Magazine.
All types of bikes are welcome : cargo bikes, trikes, handcycles, adapted bikes, and even Penny Farthings. Tunes, illuminations at the ready!
Volunteers Needed: The event can only happen with volunteers! We are looking for Ride Leaders, Marshals, Event Coordinators and Support Crew to help make the event run smoothly. We can provide the training! Be a part of something magical :)
