Every spring and fall, millions of birds migrate over Louisville each night. But many birds don't survive the journey, and the effects of artificial light at night create some of the biggest threats to their survival. The good news: Anyone can contribute to the solution by taking some small—but meaningful—actions during peak bird migration months.
Come learn about Lights Out Louisville—a local conservation program sponsored by the Louisville Audubon Society—from program advocates Mary Beth Nevulis, vice president of the Louisville Audubon Society, and Dan Price, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador, newspaper columnist, and Volunteer Naturalist at Bernheim Forest. They'll discuss:
