Lights on the Parkway

The 30th annual Lights in the Parkway display event transforms more than a mile of Lehigh Parkway into a spectacular winter wonderland, illuminated by a quarter-million dazzling lights! Join us this season as we celebrate the grand finale of our nation’s 250th Anniversary with a special patriotic section featuring a soaring American eagle surrounded by brilliant red, white, and blue lights.
2026 will see a continued series of Mondays at Lights in the Parkway where people are invited to walk, run or bike through the lights from 5:30-10:00 on Mondays. No reservations are required. These nights will feature partnerships with local groups to celebrate diverse cultural traditions and themes as well as Santa’s Mailbox to send your letters to Santa. The Mid Atlantic Greater Swiss Club is planning to walk on December 7 with a rain date of the 14th.
-- December 7: Hanukkah Celebration in partnership with the Jewish Community Center of the Lehigh Valley.
-- December 14: Polar Express – Polar Express Experience and a Movie in the Park featuring the movie “The Polar Express.” (more details to follow)
Things to know
-- Move it Mondays are free to walk
-- Dogs are allowed (just clean up after them)
-- No cars are allowed on the premises
-- Parking will be allowed on Lehigh Parkway South and Grammes Road
