Lights of Pride at Stamford Old Town Hall + 2023 Class Picture

Stamford, CT will show off its pride by illuminating Stamford’s Old Town Hall (175 Atlantic St) in rainbow colors, for it's third annual lighting ceremony, to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Old Town Hall will proudly display the rainbow colors every night starting June 1st.

Meet us at the steps of Old Town Hall on June 1st at 8:45 PM to help us kick off Lights of Pride! Be part of Stamford Pride history and make sure you stick around for our 2023 Class Picture, all residents are welcomed to join us.

Stamford Pride will be hosting a Kick-Off Happy Hour Social starting at 6:30 pm at The Loft located on the second floor of Bradford's Bar & Grill prior to the Lighting of Old Town Hall. We will have a mini-march from Bradford's over to Old Town Hall at 8:30 PM.

The lighting project was organized by Stamford Pride, a group of local LGBTQ+ residents and community leaders.

Pride Month is celebrated in June to commemorate the anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion in New York City on June 28, 1969, which is considered the birth of the modern LGBTQ+ movement.

ABOUT STAMFORD PRIDE:

Stamford Pride is a nonprofit organization formed in 2019 by a group of local LGBTQ+ residents, community leaders, and allies, and is composed of 12 board members coming from all walks of life with the shared goal of celebrating LGBTQ+ diversity in the city they live and work in.

Several events will be produced by Stamford Pride during the month of June to celebrate LGBTQ+ history and culture.
