Soulful, passionate, and sincere are the words used most frequently when describing Portland-raised Lightnin’ Luke. Singer, songwriter, and violinist, Luke’s bluesy vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and wild fiddle playing have made him a versatile musical force. Lightnin’ plays fiddle in the Bridge City Sinners and currently is located in Charleston, SC.
Born from the swamps and underpasses of the American South, Yes Ma’am merges Depression Era blues, Jazz and Bluegrass with instrumental virtuosity and the raw, emotional storytelling of early punk rock. Matt’s soulful voice and authentic stage presence have made him a muse for the traveling community and solidified his legendary status as street-corner royalty. His sound has shaped a generation of musicians, whether he’s performing solo or with a rotating ensemble of folk punk’s finest. Yes Ma’am is a force that demands attention.
Originally from small-town Connecticut, though now based in Nashville, TN (as of 2019), Joshua Quimby has made a name for himself as an alternative country-folk singer/songwriter and guitar picker. A multi-disciplined creative carving his own path, Quimby has earned hundreds of thousands of listeners and followers across platforms, and millions of streams, through the years. When he isn't singing, playing, or on the road, Quimby writes poetry and sketches.
Local favorite, Trish Darrel, brings her goth country out in solo performances or with her full band, Misty Cans and the Horny Toads, or duos Thee Imperfect Strangers and Gloves and Shovels.
This is a a pretty stacked show. Lightnin' Luke and Yes Ma'am just happen to come through Sioux Falls the same time as Joshua Quimby! What are the odds we ever get them all together in one night again!
