Tuesday, November 11 from 5:00pm - 6:30pm at Roanoke College's Wortmann BallroomJoin Salem Museum Executive Director Garrett Channell and Roanoke College associate professor of history Dr. Robert Willingham for an exclusive preview of legendary filmmaker Ken Burns' latest work, The American Revolution. This free event will be held in Roanoke College's Wortmann Ballroom inside of the school's Colket Center.
The event, coinciding with Veteran's Day, will include a viewing of exclusive clips from Burns' upcoming PBS documentary series, which examines how America's founding turned the world upside-down. After the screening, Channell and Willingham will thoughtfully discuss the documentary, the continuing legacy of the Revolution, and more.
