The goals of Lighthouse Ukraine are to
• Raise awareness for the current situation in Ukraine and be a beacon of peaceful solidarity
• Directly provide services from NGOs, private and public sector in a consolidated environment
• Connect locals and Ukrainians on a local and regional level to build support and forge new friendships
• Enlist more support for Ukraine
Program:
12-1pm - Warm up & Fair. Food, art, music
1-2:30pm - Speakers & Presentations. Activists, Professors, NGOs, and CEOs. Projects and successes. Give and get help
2:30-4pm - Fair. More food, art, music, and dance.
Our planned activities:
- Stage presenting projects and telling stories by:
- Francis Fukuyama and Mike McFaul
- prominent Ukrainians activists
- NGOs
- CEOs
- Livestreaming to major social platforms with live transcribing and translation to Ukrainian
- Local media coverage
- Ukrainian Fair: Food, Music & Art
- Networking opportunities to connect, create, participate, and facilitate new and existing projects
