Lighthouse Loop Half Marathon and 5K was established with the goal of helping local high school athletes. Over the last 8 years West Volusia Runners have donated ALL of the proceeds from this event -- over $170,000 to the athletic departments of the 10 Volusia County public high schools.
Each high school is invited to staff a water stop along the half marathon course. After the race runners vote for their favorite stop and that school gets and extra bonus!!
