Lighthaus:
Forming at music college in South London, Lighthaus are an explosive 5 piece outfit with their roots firmly embedded in prog rock. However, after growing and developing their sound in a scene notoriously dominated with post punk and post rock, what has emerged is something new. Blitzing guitar riffs soaked in wild effects, walls of layered synth melodies, and lyrics dramatic both in content and delivery are all anchored to spectacularly thunderous drumming and basslines. With glimpses of math and jazz rock too, Lighthaus brings multiple elements of heavier experimental music into unique harmony, and one that is essential you experience live.
