Light upon Light: Prophetic Dua'a

We are beyond excited to invite you to our Third Annual Light Upon Light: A Night of Qur'an & Reflection, hosted by @nus.uki, @themuhsineen_, @theg3nerations, and @mcLeanmuslims!

This special evening will be an opportunity for us to immerse ourselves in the divine beauty of the Qur'an through heartfelt recitations, traditional qira’at, inspiring tafseer, and meaningful reflections—guided by our talented and esteemed huffadh.

As we prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan, a time in which the Qur'an was revealed, we gather to strengthen our connection to this timeless guidance, seeking to align ourselves with the teachings of the Prophets.

This Year's Theme: Prophetic Duaa
The focus of this year’s event will be on the duaa of our beloved Prophets—how they were tested and what they asked of Allah. Through their supplications, we will reflect on their trust in Allah’s mercy and draw closer to our Creator.

We are honored to welcome a remarkable lineup of sisters who have not only mastered the recitation of the Qur'an but have also memorized it in its entirety—Allahumma Barik. We are also thrilled to have our sisters from Finjani joining us for the evening!

Finjani will be offering a selection of premium lattes, handcrafted beverages, and delicious desserts, adding a special touch to our gathering. Their beautifully crafted drinks are the perfect way to enhance the night’s atmosphere of sisterhood and reflection, so make sure to stop by their booth to indulge in some of their signature treats!

This event is free of charge, but registration is required for entry. You don’t want to miss this unforgettable evening of sisterhood, reflection, and connection to the divine!
