Think of the people close to you who have been shining lights in your life, those whose lights are now shining bright in the sky.Through their love, friendship or compassion, those extraordinary people leave a mark on you that can never be forgotten.
That’s why, Macmillan Caring Locally will be hosting a remembrance event, Light Up the Sky for the second year.
You and your family and friends can take part by purchasing a light in memory of a loved one and dedicating their name, a message and picture on our memorial website.
Join us at Tuckton Tea Gardens on Friday 27th September to remember them with others and shine their light.
A night of lights, music and remembrance begins with two minutes of silent reflection as we illuminate the riverside.
The event will be open from 6pm where drinks and refreshments will be available from our Golden Partners and Hosts, Tuckton Tea Gardens and Bodega.
The event officially starts at 7.30pm and the two minute silence will begin at 8pm.
