About this Event
Kick off the holiday season and light up the Heritage Carousel!
Join us on Sunday, December 8, 2024, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm, at the Heritage Carousel in Union Park, 1801 Pennsylvania Ave, Des Moines, Iowa.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there. Enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, and holiday music. Enjoy FREE Carousel rides plus, take home a Carousel ornament. (1 per family, please!) Lighting will happen right away at 5:30 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public
Get to the front of the line with the Rudolph "Fast Pass"
With your donation of $50, a group of up to 4 people can skip the line once and head straight for the front! Pick your timeslot when selecting your ticket. After your ride, stay and enjoy the music and treats or you can always get in line for another turn.
All donations support the maintenance of the Carousel and keep our regular season ride prices low for kids and adults alike!
