Light the Way Tree Lighting

This holiday season, JC Parks and United Way of Central Missouri are bringing local organizations together for our first-ever Light the Way event! We will host a tree lighting at the River Market (160 N. Chestnut) during the first Christmas Market of the season on Tuesday, December 1, 2026 at 5:30 PM.
United Way partner agencies and supporters are invited to decorate a Christmas tree that showcases their mission, celebrates their work and spreads holiday cheer throughout the community. It’s a chance to raise awareness, connect with residents and celebrate the organizations that make Jefferson City stronger.
