About this Event
Healthy Eats Classroom welcomes Adrienne from Johnson's Little Bake Shop for our light and fresh summer dessert class.
Johnson's bake shop is known locally for their emphasis on fresh local produce baked into their amazing products. Pies, cookies and other sweet treats fill their dessert cases with so much deliciousness that I had to bring some of that talent into the classroom! This is a special class for both of us as we show you some healthier options for summer treats that are sure to delight just as much. Raspberry bars, key lime sweets, lemon merengue, coffee sorbet and so much more to pick from there is sure to be something you love!
This is a hands-on class where participants will be helping making one of the recipes in small groups. We will show you the different ways we made these desserts healthier and alternatives for switching out ingredients to customize for your preferences. Participants will get to taste each dessert and take home the step-by-step recipes to recreate again and again.
Only 22 spots available for this class. Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to another person or class one week prior to the class date. Kids over 8 are welcome to sign up with an adult and need a separate ticket. Message me with any questions. See you in class!
