Light on the Legislature: Let's Keep an Eye on Child Care & Early Learning

Please join McLennan County Talks for a "Light on the Legislature" community meet up. Our topic will be "Let's Keep an Eye on Child Care & Early Learning," and our conversation leaders will be James Jesse from EOAC/Head Start, Haley O’Connell, from United Way, and Julie Talbert from Workforce Solutions from the Heart of Texas. This is one of a series of casual, friendly, non-partisan conversations about what is happening in the Texas Legislature this session and how it might affect us here in Waco and McLennan County. We will meet Tuesday, February 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 at The Performing Arts Community Center, 924 Austin Avenue. No cost to attend. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.
