🌅 Pensacola Lighthouse Sunset and Moonrise Climb 🌕Experience one of the most unique views on the Gulf Coast with a special evening climb of the historic Pensacola Lighthouse.
This rare after hours event allows guests to see the lighthouse’s magnificent first order Fresnel lens in action, casting its beam 27 miles out to sea while guiding mariners to safe harbor.
From the top of the tower you will watch the sunset over Pensacola Bay and the moon rising over the water, all in one unforgettable climb.

Important Transportation Information
Civilian Guests
Civilians must use the designated shuttle bus for transportation to the lighthouse. Do not attempt to drive yourself to the site. Follow all pickup instructions provided in your confirmation email.
Military Guests
Guests with DoD ID and base access may drive their own vehicle. Please note in the comment section when booking if you plan to drive instead of using the shuttle.
Children riding the shuttle must be at least 6 years old and at least 44 inches tall.
Visitor Guidelines
• Wear shoes with a secured back. Guests wearing backless shoes without a heel or ankle strap will be asked to climb the lighthouse tower barefoot.
• Backpacks and oversized bags must be left in your vehicle and cannot be taken into the museum or tower.
• Beginning May 7, 2025, visitors entering federal installations may be required to present a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification.
Cancellation Policy
Guests will receive a full refund with at least 3 days notice of cancellation.
Full refunds are also provided if the event is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
No shows will be charged the full ticket price.
