Join us for an evening of choral music as the singers of Halifax Camerata and the Symphony Nova Scotia Chorus come together in support of the Nova Scotia Choral Federation.
Recent funding reductions have had a direct impact on choral music across the province—affecting community choirs, youth programs, and opportunities for singers of all ages. This concert is both a celebration and a call to action. Through music, we aim to support the continued vitality of choral singing in Nova Scotia.
The program will centre on the Kodaly setting of the Missa Brevis, which interprets the sacred text through modal harmony and folksong-inspired melodies, coupled with a lyrical romanticism.
Admission is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis with all proceeds supporting the work of the Nova Scotia Choral Federation.
