Summerville Artist Guild Presents “Light, Atmosphere & the Coastal Landscape” with Lisa Willits
Lisa Willits will show how she transforms a coastal reference photograph into a light-filled painting by simplifying the composition, organizing values, mixing atmospheric color, and using soft and hard edges to create depth.
The hands-on workshop will allow participating artists to explore these techniques in their own coastal paintings, with step-by-step instruction and individual guidance from Willits.
The demonstration will be held at Stallsville UMChurch, September 3rd at 7:00 pm The September 19 workshop will run from 9:30 to 3:30 pm at Stallsville UMChurch, 255 Stallsville Loop, Summerville.
