Join Pittsburgh Bereavement Doulas for our eighth annual Light & Unite gathering on Thursday, October 15, at Schenley Plaza.
Held on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, Light & Unite welcomes bereaved parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, and community members to remember babies who have died and support the families who love them.
This year’s theme, “somewhere [over the rainbow],” invites us to make space for remembrance, love, and community.
The evening begins at 6 p.m., with the Wave of Light at 7 p.m. Together, we will light candles in remembrance, joining communities around the world.
Come to remember your baby, stand beside someone you love, or support compassionate care for local families. There is no expectation to share your story or participate in a particular way.
Admission includes an appetizer buffet and complimentary soft drinks. The gathering supports PBD’s free bereavement doula and photography services for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.
