LSO welcomes virtuosic and mesmerizing guitarist JIJI to transport the listeners to springtime in the gardens of Spain with Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez. JIJI will also perform light, beloved, a concerto written especially for her in 2018 by Natalie Dietterich. Following intermission, LSO performs Brahms’ beautiful Symphony No. 4, his final symphony which is at once complex and succinct, elegant and full of heart.
