Lifts, Dips & Tricks for Waltz & Other Dances Workshop!
A workshop in lifts, dips, drops and such for Waltz and other dances. The workshop's orientation is for Waltz, but what will be taught can be adapted for other dances.
Prerequisite: You need to be athletic and to bring your own partner (unlike all other lessons and workshops, there is no partner rotation in this kind of workshop), The lead needs to be able to easily walk while carrying the follower.
Being able to Waltz is recommended but not required. If you don't do Waltz yet, consider coming to our Waltz lessons such as those on Saturday April 18th, and to our Waltz workshops.
The workshop will start with some social dips (dips in which the follower has their own balance and weight), and then move well beyond that to partnered lifts, carries, low dips, drops and such.
