Lift to Rise 2026-2028 Action Planning

Action Planning is here! You are invited to join Lift to Rise and the 70+ cross-sector partners to co-create our shared two-year Action Plan for 2026-2028!

Every two years, we convene our partners for an exciting two-day strategic planning session where together we map out our collaborative work for the next two years and our plan for reaching our bold, shared goal of reducing regional rent burden by 30% through the production of 10,000 units of affordable housing in the Coachella Valley by 2028!

Two years ago, many of you participated in co-creating our current Action Plan -- which you can read here Action Plan 24-26 - Lift to Rise. Since then, we've worked together to implement that plan and have:

• added more than 1,500 affordable units to the regional pipeline bringing the current total to over 9,700 units
• engaged and mobilized hundreds of Coachella Valley residents in support of affordable housing
• grown the impact of the We Lift Catalyst Fund, bringing our current total to $41 million in flexible funding deployed and spurring over 1,200 units of affordable housing
• advocated for countless pro-housing bills and policies at the federal, state, and local levels
• continued to grow our coalition here at home and across the state and nation.
