Joe Maxi is an experimental, alternative rock band from Dublin, Ireland, known for their high-energy sound that seamlessly blends elements of punk, grunge, post-punk, and experimental rock. With their unique musical approach, the band has made a strong mark in the Irish and UK music scenes, gaining widespread recognition for their fearless, chaotic style and captivating live performances.

Their raw intensity, described by Hot Press as a "delightful explosion of heavy guitars," is a hallmark of their sound. BBC Introducing NI, hosted by Gemma Bradley, played an instrumental role in developing the bands Belfast fanbase giving their track "The Game" an exclusive debut. Gemma Bradley's support on BBC Introducing NI helped the band reach new heights and expand their audience.

Their single "Butterfly" has been widely praised for its "chaotic and fearless exploration of contemporary experimental music," according to Headbanger HQ. The track also received airplay on BBC Introducing NI, which helped push their unique sound further into the mainstream.
