Lifeline - The Story of Rahab | Friday, April 26th

God freed the children of Israel from Egypt almost 40 years ago, and they have been wandering in the wilderness ever since. Having just crossed the Jordan River into the Promised Land, the first place they come across is The Walled City of Jericho. Inside the City of Jericho lives a well-known priestess serving many gods in the temple: Rahab.

Rahab knows plenty about the many different gods she serves: Baal, Molech, and Asheroth just to name a few. But she starts to wonder: do any of them know her? As Rahab's faith in her gods is brought into question by the crumbling world around her, she hears rumors of the God of the Israelites. One God that brought the Israelites out of the hands of the Egyptians, through the Red Sea on dry ground, fed them in the wilderness, and is now leading them straight toward Jericho. As the Israelites approach Jericho, where battle will surely ensue, Rahab begins her journey in knowing the One True God: Jehovah.

The musical drama, Lifeline - The Story of Rahab, will be performed exclusively by the young people of Apostolic Center. Apostolic Center is proud to have a group of outstanding young people, as young as 11 years old, to put on these performances for years. Every singer, actor, musician, and any other crew member involved is faithful to Apostolic Center, and is excited to bring you this great message.

The performance will include full blackouts in between songs and scenes. There will also be some violent scenes that may be difficult for younger children to watch. With the play being portrayed inside the godless city of Jericho, some of the dialogue and conversation may be uncomfortable. We do, however, believe that it is all essential not only to the story, but also to remind each of us of the effects not knowing the One True God has on a society.

For these reasons, we recommend against bringing kids 5 years old and younger. Each person in attendance will be required to have a ticket purchased exclusively for them.
