LifeGift's 2nd Annual Lubbock HopeFest

Register today for LifeGift's 2nd Annual Lubbock HopeFest—a FREE, family-friendly event that celebrates the generosity of organ, eye and tissue donors, honors the families who said "yes" to donation and recognizes the lives transformed through transplantation while inspiring hope for those still waiting.

Join us on Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Texas Tech University Recreational Softball Fields for a day of celebration, remembrance and community as we come together to recognize the extraordinary gift of life across West Texas.

About HopeFest

Free admission and open to the public—plus complimentary lunch! Bring your family and friends for a day filled with fun, connection and inspiration. Cheer on teams during an exciting softball tournament, with awards presented for the Tournament Champion, Best Team Name and Best Team Uniform.

Honor the legacy of donors by walking through the Honor Path, a heartfelt tribute created by donor families. Enjoy activities for all ages, including the HopeSpot selfie station, face painting, crafts, a special appearance by Covenant Children's Hospital's KiteFlight helicopter and crew and music from TJ the DJ.

Enjoy delicious food, explore local vendors and participate in activities for all ages that celebrate the gift of life. The first 500 attendees will receive a HopeFest 2026 T-shirt at no cost. Attendees can also enter a free raffle for a chance to win an autographed Texas Tech football generously donated by Coca-Cola and signed by Joey McGuire.

Create an Honor Sign

Donor family members are invited to create a personalized sign in honor of their loved one. Stop by the LifeGift office at 5812 64th St., Lubbock, Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm to pick up a sign to decorate. Include photos, memories, quotes or your loved one's story—whatever best celebrates their legacy. Signs and craft supplies will also be available at HopeFest if you prefer to create your sign at the event.
