Are you a creative person who likes to explore new interests and hobbies? Would you like to enjoy creativity and fellowship while encouraging others in the faith? Join us in this monthly life group! Each person will bring their own creative supplies and do their own project in a fun and faith-filled atmosphere. Crochet, jewelry making, card making, paint by number... whatever you like, just bring it with you! Join us as we explore new things and learn from each other, in creative arts and in life. Are Arts & Crafts not usually your thing but you are curious to learn more? Bring a game or cards and hang out with us!
In biblical times, folks gathered at the well for more than water, they shared their trials and triumphs, they did life together, through encouragement and fellowship. We have seen how the Lord is able to work on our hearts and minds as we get busy creating with our hands, and emotional healing often occurs when we learn to relax and invite the Holy Spirit to dwell in us; and create through us!
Just to be clear, this is not a paid workshop scenario where anyone would profit financially. Everyone brings their own supplies, but we can also share and trade supplies. Please, no buying or selling at our ‘Well Gatherings.’ This is meant to be like how women used to get together for a full day retreat for scrapbooking, but this would be any creative art of your choice. (Or hang out and play a game.)
Will you join us as we practice the art of living a Life of Love? Our mission is to partner with our communities to encourage, support, and view one another through God's Lens of Love, shine his Light of Life, and of course... have Lots of Laughs along the way! We invite you to join our journey to live well and give God glory. Bring a friend or come alone and make new friends!
IMPORTANT: For security, you do need to join via the link for this free membership, and you are under no obligation for anything. I will not spam you! ;) Members do not need to attend every get-together and you are always welcome to bring a guest. The location is near Irmo and will be shared once you join.
