Sir James Reckitt was part of the Victorian philanthropy movement and gifted much of his wealth to the city of Hull. The choices he made have left a legacy, in both the spaces he created and the organisations his wealth still supports today.
Local historian Mike Covell will host the final talk in the Life of Legacy series, part of Hull Libraries commemoration of the life of Sir James Reckitt in the centenary year of his death.
