On September 20, 2024 from 4pm-7pm, the Idaho State Archives is proud to host the opening reception of the exhibit “Life in the Embrace of the Blue Dragon Lava - Celebrating 100 Years of the Craters of the Moon” by Treasure Valley conservation artist Mary Arnold. This exhibit on display until March 31, 2025, showcases the body of work Arnold completed during her artist residency at the Craters of the Moon National Monument during her tenure during 2023-2024 as one of their Centennial artists in residence .
