Life Drawing with Collage
Open to all abilities, from beginners to experienced drawers, each workshop is an excellent opportunity to create work for a portfolio, artwork for the wall, or simply to get creative, build confidence and socialise in a supportive environment.
Drawing from an experienced nude model, Lucy will guide and encourage you to experiment with different materials and mark making to capture the dynamic human form. Through these workshops you will explore experimental approaches to drawing, develop observational skills, let go of expectation and perfectionism and have fun.
In this afternoon workshop on Saturday 7th November, Lucy will guide you in drawing the nude form with cuts and tears and layering of beautiful papers, including vintage wall papers, maps and books, and sticking everything down with homemade flour glue. We begin this workshop with a Matisse style warm up - drawing with scissors!
When: 2pm-5pm
Where: Abbey House, Glastonbury
Cost: £55 (includes all tools and materials)
Why not make it a day of drawing and join us for Life Drawing with Sticks and Ink in the morning?
