Life Drawing at John Marley Centre

Life drawing in a unique, relaxed environment with subtle music, using natural light and occasional lighting equipment.

A safe space, non-judgemental, friendly and relaxed no pressure, no expectation, just drawing

We hope to host a positive variety of models as well as some regular visitors

We hope to invite occasional artists from within the building to share some insights on their own practice, and perhaps give a little informal guidance

You will need:

– Pens/ chalk/ pencils etc.

- if you wish to use acrylics etc please provide your own floor covering to protect our lovely wood floors :)

– Sketchbook (we can provide scrap paper and drawing boards)

NB We do have a limited supply of materials if you don’t happen to have your own

Tickets are £15

A few things to think about before attending our sessions…

– strictly no Photographing or touching of the model

– Be mindful of conversational topics that may cause offence or distress to others in the group

– Please respect the privacy of the model, avoid asking them to disclose any personal contact details

– Wherever possible, please remain seated for the duration of each pose
