Life Drawing & Ceramic Painting Workshop
About this Event
Join us for a unique creative experience where life drawing meets ceramic painting.
Hosted at Mino Pottery Café in Herne Hill, this 2.5-hour workshop invites you to transform your sketches into beautiful, hand-painted ceramic stoneware pieces you'll be proud to use or display at home.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist, this is a relaxed and welcoming session designed to help you slow down, get creative, and enjoy the process.
How the workshop works
Part 1 – Life Drawing
We'll begin with a live drawing session featuring a professional model. The model will move through a series of poses, each lasting up to 15 minutes, giving you the opportunity to experiment with different sketches and drawing styles.
Part 2 – Paint Your Ceramic Piece
After the drawing session, you'll choose your favourite sketch and, with guidance from the Mino Pottery team, transfer your design onto a ceramic plate using specialised ceramic paints.
- Choose between differents sizes and shapes of plates.
- Once your design is complete, your ceramic piece will be professionally glazed and fired in the kiln. As this process takes time, your finished plate will be ready for collection approximately 3 weeks after the workshop.
