October is Respect Life Month, and the first Sunday of October is designated as Respect Life Sunday.
Community members are invited to join with other area pro-life supporters at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, in peaceful public witness. We will meet at Messiah Lutheran Church and will create our chain on North Avenue and 12th Street.
The life chain will allow supports to pray for the nation and for an end to abortion. This event is held in more than 1,400 cities in the United States.
