Did you know cemeteries can be sites of rich biodiversity? It's one of the reasons Community Deathcare promotes natural burial as an earth-friendly option. Join this free fieldtrip to learn more!Amber Westfall of The Wild Garden will lead a series of plant walks to introduce us to the local plant life making their home in among the stones. In June, July, and August, we'll meet at different cemeteries to learn more about particular flora and their habitat.
Our July outing is July 7th and we'll be meeting at Beechwood Cemetery at 2 pm, outside the Sacred Space entrance. It will be a 90 minute walk and lecture. Please wear appropriate footwear.
