About this Event
London Inner City Kitties (LICK) is a non-profit, no-K*ll charity in East London established in 2018 to rescue cats. All donations from this event will go towards LICK's medical expenses, specialty medical food, medicine, food and litter.
The goal of this event is to meet other cat people at a cozy café, learn more about LICK and the adoption process and exchange cat toys with participants.
The LICK Secret Santa is simple and fun:
• Bring one cat toy → take one home
• Bring two → take two home
• Bring three → take… you get the idea
• Remember to keep gifts small and cat-safe
The Hackney has generously reserved a space for the event, with drinks and snacks available to buy at the bar.
We will also have cat toys available for purchase during the event. The toys will be from donations made by LICK supporters, if you have donated a cat toy to LICK in the past you might see it there 😊
To learn why LICK needs donations and how they help, check out their website. All donations from the event will go to LICK through their PayPal Giving Fund. There is no minimum donation required, donate what you can and come talk cats with us!
