Library Up Late x Now or Never

Witness State Library Victoria transform into an after-dark playground of music, art, performance and unexpected encounters.

Wander the Library after hours with drink in hand as live music, pop-up performances, installations and interactive experiences unfold throughout the building. Explore the Library's latest exhibitions after dark, discover hidden corners and experience one of Melbourne's most iconic cultural spaces in a completely different light.

Created as part of Now or Never, this special edition explores the idea of 'future memories' – the moments, technologies and experiences shaping the stories we'll tell about today. Throughout the night, artists and audiences come together to imagine how memory evolves, what we choose to preserve and the futures we are creating right now.

Whether you're following a sound through the Dome, stumbling upon a surprise performance or settling in for a moment of reflection, Library Up Late x Now or Never offers a night of discovery, connection and late-night energy in the heart of the city.
