Cindy Mediavilla, co-author of Libraries & Gardens: Growing Together and retired librarian, presents a visual tour of outstanding library gardens worldwide and discusses the garden’s important role in today’s community-focused library. After the presentation, visit our activity stations to check out the Library’s new gardening kits, get free seeds, learn about small space and butterfly gardening from Community Gardens volunteers, and more! A book sale and signing follows the program.
Event will be held in The Annex room at Pico Branch Library.
