Libraries & Legal Access: FREE Happy Hour with Counsel Unbound
About this Event
Monday, November 16 // 4:00 PM // Backporch Social
Join Counsel Unbound for a FREE, casual happy hour following the Texas Library Association's District 3 Meeting!
Libraries are often the first place people turn when they need help navigating legal challenges. We'd love to hear from you directly about the needs you see in your libraries and communities, and share a bit about our work to expand access to affordable legal help in Texas!
Stop by for a drink and appetizers, meet our team, and connect with fellow librarians! We'll also share a preview of our workshop at the District 3 Meeting on November 17th for anyone interested in learning more about our initiative to bring more legal help to Texas.
Free to attend. All librarians and library professionals are welcome!
Counsel Unbound is an initiative by The Institute for Justice, a non-profit, civil liberties law firm dedicated to increasing access to justice nationwide.
