Liberty & Tricking Training Clinic with Horsemanship Unlocked
September 27th & 28th
Participant: $300 each day (maximum 8 participants each day)
Audit: $25 per day
Daily Schedule:
8am - 10am: Meet and Greet & Lecture
10am - 11am: Groundwork
11am - 12pm: Basic trick & liberty training
12pm-1pm: Lunch (No Lunch Provided)
1pm-5pm: Individual liberty sessions.
Join us with clinician Veronica Painter with Horsemanship Unlocked helping bridge the gap and strengthen the bond between horse and human in the Liberty & Trick Training Clinic. Veronica uses equine psychology and cognition, applied learning theory and positive reinforcement. During this clinic you will learn the language of horses and respond accordingly.
Stalls are available for $20 per night. Please note you are provided with 1 bag of shavings for your stay, and you are responsible for hay, grain, and a water bucket.
Hay and Shavings are available for purchase at $10 each.
Clinic will be held rain or shine as we both have indoor and outdoor arenas.
Rider fee is non-refundable unless the clinic is canceled. You may sell your rider spot to someone else if you are unable to attend. Deposit of $100 due upon reservation. Remaining balance to be paid time of clinic, or in advance.
About the Clinician:
Veronica Painter born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, but now seasonally based in Marine in St Croix, Minnesota offering private and group lessons, circus arts summer camps specializing in liberty and trick training, roman riding, trick/cossack riding and bareback/vaulting. I received a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology specializing in animal behavior, then receiving a master’s degree in theatrical circus arts. From riding lessons, participating with a national trick riding team, touring with a riding troupe specializing in theatrical circus arts, performing in horse expos, circuses, and renaissance fairs. Veronica continues research in equine applied learning and bridges the gap that can exist between horsemanship and athletics.
