Join us on Friday, June 19th, 2026, as we celebrate Juneteenth with a night full of creativity, culture, and community connection — proudly presented by Darryl’s Corner Society, in partnership with Stop The Violence Coalition, Inc. and The Academy for Peace.

This event welcomes all races, all ethnicities, all backgrounds, all stories.
Juneteenth honors freedom — and freedom is something every community can celebrate together.

Whether you want to perform, listen, bid, or simply be in the room, you belong here.


What to Expect

🎤 Open Mic Performances
Poetry, music, spoken word, storytelling — all forms of expression are welcome.

🎨 Community Auction
Bid on art, goods, services, and special items donated by local creators and supporters.
Every dollar raised supports DCS programs.

🤝 A Welcoming, Inclusive Space
A night for connection, joy, and community building.
Come as you are — bring your friends, your family, your voice, your heart.

Darryl’s Corner Society (DCS)

A community‑centered nonprofit dedicated to nourishment, literacy, dignity, and empowerment.
We believe in giving a hand up, not a handout, and building spaces where every person feels seen, valued, and supported.


Stop The Violence Coalition, Inc.

A long‑standing Wilmington organization committed to peace, safety, and community healing.


The Academy for Peace

A hub for education, empowerment, and restorative community work.
