Liberation Bonfire

Through conversation, music from DJ Shae Balboa, and collaborative art, we’ll celebrate the ways our communities find joy in resistance, resilience, and reimagining our world. This event centers the belief that liberation is not just the absence of oppression but the presence of shared happiness, connection, and creativity. We'll be gathering at 1870 Bowens Island Rd. Masks will be provided but not required in the outdoor space. We ask that everyone test beforehand and provide pictures of the negative test. We will also have a limited number of tests on hand. Please send pictures with your name to or text 803.354.0113 with your name. Please respect everyone's boundaries around masking and covid. Covid precautions are harm reduction.

Light snacks and refreshment will be provided. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions by 1/11/25.

We will provide child care on site, care needs, and first aid supplies.
