About this Event
Since the Landscape Department moved to central Greenwich in 2013, the staff led by Prof. Benz Kotzen have been developing the roof gardens as a teaching and research resource under the umbrella of the Green Roofs and Living Walls Centre.

The tour will last two hours when we will view the university’s living walls and roof gardens. This includes a pond with marginal areas , meadow, ornamental planting, vegetable and fruit gardens.
There will be discussion of the related habitats and urban ecology, urban agriculture, aquaponics and other aspects of the research underway and also an opportunity to view the landscape architecture students’ work at the Greenwich summer exhibition.
