About the Event
Join Lincoln Heights Youth Arts Center for our 9th annual Día de los Muertos Days of Remembrance Celebration and Movie Night! This free community event brings families and neighbors together to honor loved ones through art, culture, and tradition. Enjoy live music, Aztec dance, an educational discussion on the ancestral tradition of ofrenda making, hands-on art workshops, face painting, community altars, refreshments, and a special screening of “The Book of Life.” Everyone is invited to add your own offerings to our Community Altar and take in this year’s unique Indigenous Ofrenda as we celebrate remembrance, cultural heritage, and the connections that unite us. Bring your family and join us for an afternoon of creativity, community, and celebration in Lincoln Heights!
