Theme: Our Stories
Join us for an evening celebrating Lao heritage with traditional cuisine, dance, and music performed by our talented LHF students. This year’s gala will highlight the immigration stories of our students' families, gathered through interviews conducted as part of the Lao Art and Culture Summer Camp in Virginia.
We are excited to unveil our new Education Project, which began in October 2023. This initiative provides online English education to orphans in Laos, enhancing their employment prospects after graduation. Our program, which started in Luang Prabang, now includes over 60 high school and college students. The project is supported by a global network of 25 trained and vetted volunteers who teach English. Additionally, we offer scholarships to orphans pursuing higher education, with the first cohort consisting of seven students who receive $50 per month to assist with tuition and living expenses.
