Get ready for a Summer of Fun while learning and playing from one of the best NEW summer programs in the Bay Area! Different from the traditional summer school. LGS Recreation’s fee-based Summer Fun Academy is open to all student’s 1st-8th grade. The program provides students the opportunity to strengthen their academics and to get outside and play during the summer months through a wide range of challenging, engaging, and fun programs!This multi-week program with instructional tracks, similar to “periods” within a traditional school day. A cohort of 14 students will rotate together through a track consisting of 4 “periods” each day. Each “period” will run for 45 minutes. The goal of the program is to mix both enrichment and athletics programs into each track to give students a wide variety of exciting activities to participate in during the summer.
