LGDN Speaker and Networking Event

Liverpool Game Dev Network is proud to host our next speaker event at Barclay's Eagle Labs on Mann Island.

LGDN is a community-run networking initiative that aims to strengthen relations amongst local game studios and developers, and open avenues for local talent through its network and facilitation of events.

This time, our theme focuses on mental wellbeing. In what has been such a tricky time for the games industry, it's important to discuss ways to maintain positive mental wellbeing through company culture, and utilising the fantastic communities that can be found in the games industry.

We welcome two guest speakers:

Talk: Fostering Psychological Safety in Game Dev Studios

Steven Simpson: Sound Designer at Fallen Planet Studios, Safe in Our World Mental Health 1st Aider, and Founder of Game Audio Liverpool

Talk: The Princess is in Another Castle: How Community Can Support Mental Health, Career Change, and a Pathway into Games

We are also delighted to once again collaborate with the fantastic team at FORMAT to offer attendees at this event the chance to win FREE tickets to FORMAT Liverpool on the 26th September, 2024.
