LGBTQIA+ Fil Am History Month Celebration 2022

“Fil Am LGBTQIA+: Inspire, Resist, & Empower” (FIRE), is an in person and virtual celebration on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in the Elk Grove and Sacramento region. October presents us with a unique opportunity to uplift LGBTQIA+ Filipin@ American and Filipinx identities, as the month commemorates both Filipino American and LGBTQIA+ History Month. Through community building, performances, art, music, and critical discussions that explore various facets of the LGBTQIA+ Fil Am experience, we aim to not only celebrate our shared histories and identities but to ignite the FIRE with our kasamas and kabayan across the United States and in the Philippines.
