This meeting is the next one in line after the meeting on January 11. At the January 11 meeting, there were 14 attendees during the course of the meeting.....most in person some online. 4 other people who wanted to attend got in touch with me to apologize for missing the meeting. Life happens and plans change. But they all said they were interested in learning more about the Rotary club. We need at least 20 members for Rotary International to charter the club. We are quickly heading towards that goal.At the upcomning meeting, we will look at projects involving, but not limited to, LGBTQ+ youth on the street, mentoring programs. and issues confronting elder and trans members of the community. This is a tentative idea. Please come and share any ideas you have for the club's initial project in the LGBTQIA+ community around San Antonio.
By all means please bring guests that would be interested in learning about the club.
MAIN PROGRAM - SAGE Advocacy for LGBTQ Elders
At this stage of the club's development in person is best. There will be Zoom meeting information in a week also in case you can not be there. Some of you invited are outside the San Antonio area. Please refer friends and associates you might know that live around here. We are looking at having a nationwide online presence via zoom.
