LGBTQ+ Wellbeing and creativity event -

Come and join us for a LGBTQ+ Wellbeing Workshop in Washouse gardens !

What will we be doing?

We will be gathering at Washouse gardens around a fire to celebrate the end of the year and before the winter sets in, its a chance to gather with friends old and new over the fire in queer community.

We will provide hot chocolate, warm drinks, marshmallows and savoury snacks and will be doing some wellbeing activities and creative activities!

- Meet other queer folks who love spending time in nature too

- Experience the relaxing wellbeing benefits of spending time in a beautiful woodland

- Have fun and boost your feel good chemicals as nature is known to reduce anxiety and increase wellbeing

What is Pride Outside CIC and who will be facilitating the workshop?

Ellis (they/them) is a trainee psychotherapist, with a passion for nature and building outdoor queer community to improve the mental health of their community.

Pride Outside is a Glasgow based social enterprise founded by a group of LGBTQ+ people, all with lived experience of mental health and a passion for nature!

We offer free wellbeing workshops in the woodlands and online - where you can learn about fire building, forest bathing, foraging, eco art, mindfulness and other wellbeing activities. We want to build an LGBTQ+ outdoor community, so more people can benefit from nature as much as we all have!
